Q1. My chapter has had a different website provider up until now.  We have a lot of history on our old website.  If our chapter moves to c.Spot InterWorks' NCL+Net system, what information do I have to move manually?  What informaiton will be moved for me?

A1. Since NCL+Net shares a database with NCL National, all of your member contact information, chapter board information and philanthropy name information will be shared.  As long as your information is current on the NCL National database, your information on your new website will be the same.  You will have to gather and upload the following items from your old site and manually move them to your new NCL+Net website.  We do not provide an automatic import tool for any of these items from your previous website:

• Any member contact information and membership information NOT in NCL, Inc's database.
  (Membership data on your previous chapter's website will NOT be imported into NCL+net.  We share identical membership information that is currently stored on NCL Inc's database for your NCL+Net site.)
• Member's Philanthropy and League hours
• Calendar items
• File Library items
• Newsletter PDF's
• Job titles or job descriptions
• News articles or announcements
• Required League Meeting Counts

Q2. I just renewed my domain name with another domain registrar.  Can I keep my domain at my old registrar until the registration runs out?

A2. Yes, you can have your domain name registered elsewhere.  However, we recommend using us for your domain registration because it will simplify the process and make your job easier for us to manage the domain name for you.

Q3. Can I have the website hosted somewhere else?

A3. No.

Q4. Can I have the website domain name registered somewhere else?

A3. Yes.  Although, we reccommend that we be the administrative registrar of your domain name because it will be easier for you if we manage the domain name.  Unless someone on your team is very savvy with domain names and controlling DNS settings, we reccommend you use us.  We charge about $14.50 per year for domain name registration. If you are currently involved in a long term contract with your current registrar, you can finish the terms with them and then switch to us down the road.

Q5. What forms of payment do you accept?

A4. We accept a check only for set up fees and annual hosting.  We do not accept checks for monthly hosting.  We accept Visa and Mastercard for all transactions.  We can set up monthy or annual hosting on an automatic withdrawl payment, or you can choose to have us bill you.  In the emailed bill invoice, you have the option to pay with a credit card online.
